Data sources and latency notes

Direct Polygon event streaming: Live trades are parsed directly from Polygon mainnet OrderFilled logs, typically appearing several seconds ahead of indexed REST APIs.
6-hour history backfill & positions: On initial load, the tracker backfills the most recent 6 hours of trades and enriches market titles and current midpoints via Polymarket’s public APIs.
